Laser Treatment of Hemorrhoids

PILONIDAL SINUS - CYST-DERMOID CYST

It is a disease that occurs mostly in the coccyx and less in the belly and perianal region, where hairs accumulate under the skin and form abscesses and fistulas. It occurs mostly in extremely hairy males between the ages of 16-40.

RISK FACTORS

Long-term seating, excessive friction in the coccyx. It was therefore known in the past as cavalry disease.Excessive sweating, obesity, lack of hygiene

Symptoms

Abscess in Intergluteal groove, itching, hairy or hairless holes, discharge

TREATMENT

First, the abscess should be drained in the acute phase. After the acute phase regresses and fistula is formed, the final treatment is initiated.

Endoscopic Laser Technique

All channels are entirely cleaned from hair entering by the fistula hole with the camera. The canal and sinus are scraped and cleaned with the help of a brush. Then the channel is closed by burning with laser. After the procedure, a painless, comfy, comfortable recovery is provided. It is applied in day unit and the patient immediately proceeds to normal life.

Hemoroidal Disease and Treatment

Hemorrhoids, or medical name hemorrhoidal disease, is a common disease characterized by sagging, swelling and bleeding of vascular-rich pillows in the anal canal. Hemorrhoidal disease is not a vascular disease, it is actually a connective tissue disease. The factors that cause it to sag: Constipation, long-term straining, long time passing in the toilet, ageing, relaxation of pelvic connective tissues during pregnancy and childbirth, bowel cancer, diseases that cause constipation such as bowel hernia, external hemorrhoids the factors are excessive physical activity, long-term standing on foot and fatigue.

SYMPTOMS OF THE DISEASE

Mamilla, bleeding, pain, edema

THE STAGES OF THE DISEASE

Stage I hemorrhoids are only dangled into the anal canal by pushing and are not visible. Stage II hemorrhoids dangle out of the anal canal by pushing, and return when straining is finished.
Stage III hemorrhoids come out of the anal canal by pushing and do not turn inward on their own. They need to be pushed in manually.
In Stage IV hemorrhoids, they are always flaccid outside the anal canal.
TREATMENT OF THE DISEASE

Laser hemorrhoid treatment offers patients a comfortable treatment option in terms of its painless and day unit application.

Main Fistula

The name of the fistula has been given to the canal formed between the gland (crypt) in the Anal mucosa and the skin. The cause of almost all cases is anal abscess. When the abscess caused by the clogged gland opened to the skin, the two mouths are joined by a canal.

Symptoms

  • Recurrent anal abscesses
  • Anal swelling
  • Yellow-bloody foul-smelling discharge
  • Itch
  • Symptoms of infection such as fever, chills, weakness.

MRI and Endorectal ultrasonography are useful in diagnosis.

TREATMENT

The main principle is the elimination of the fistula between the inner and outer mouth.

Laser technique: After the fistula canal is scraped and cleaned with a brush, the fistula canal is closed by burning with laser. It has a success rate between 70-90%. It is also an extremely comfortable technique for the patient, with less pain, itching and comfortable defecation after the procedure. It can be applied in day unity.
